“ My husband is Chinese and from Shanxi — in other words he lives for noodles. So I was excited to bring him to Asian Kitchen as he has been missing Chinese food and I can only do so much. First of all I love that they have the guy making noodles up front and center for people to see. I learned a lot. The menu was really thorough as far as noodles are concerned— and the food was pretty good once served. I would like more pictures on the menu, like in China how there is a picture for each item. I think this would be helpful for non Chinese people like myself. It would also be cool if you could buy some of the hand-pulled noodles uncooked to go. Anyways, we loved Asian Kitchen and wish we had something like it near by. ”
“ Look no further for awesome authentic Chinese food. The fresh noodles and dumplings are unbeatable. I got the hand-pulled Dan Dan noodles and the pork and chinese cabbage dumplings. No lie when I say these were the best dumplings I've had in America. The noodles were great too, though they were oily. ”
“ 10/10 experience, service, and food! The ambiance was casual and so comfortable for a date night. The food came out quickly and was delicious! We ordered the Beef Ramen, Fried Shrimp Ramen, and Spinach & Chicken Dumplings. They were all fresh & flavorful. The staff is also so friendly and helpful with explaining menu options. Highly recommend! ”
“ Food was incredible, high quality ingredients and prepared perfectly. There were some reviews that knocked the restaurant for atmosphere, this place is literally high end quality in a relaxed, causal atmosphere. It feels cozy, the dated feel gives it an authentic-seeming vibe. And to be honest, when you see the majority of the clientele are Asian and spending Chinese at their tables, I feel the food must be pretty authentic too. ”
“ Always busy place for a reason - it is one of the more authentic asian cusine places in the triangle. International chinese students from Duke, UNC, and NC state frequently visit the restaurant for a good reason! Their portions are quite generous, especially the noodles. Their specialty dishes pack a punch of flavor ”
“ By far the best and most authentic Chinese food we have ever had in the United States. As someone that’s been to China and knows what their food is supposed to taste like, I can assure you this is it! Their homemade noodles are to die for and the service staff is pleasant and very friendly. I would drive across town just to come here. ”
“ One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area! They serve a variety of authentic, hard-to-find hand-pulled noodles. The service is incredibly responsive, and everything is made fresh to order. I can’t wait to come back as a regular! ”
“ Actually i have been there many times. Food were more authentic when it opened from the very beginning. Now it is a little infusion. I understand. But still good enough. Ordered eggplant and fish. May go again. Nice service, ok atmosphere. ”
